Chinese chrysanthemums gifted from sister city Chongqing
At Hiroshima Botanical Garden in Saeki Ward, a chrysanthemum show is held every autumn, marking its 47th edition in 2026. About 100 chrysanthemums across roughly 40 varieties fill the outdoor exhibition area. The highlight is a display of Chinese chrysanthemums gifted from Hiroshima's sister city Chongqing, with photo panels marking the garden's 50th anniversary. The garden is open 9:00 AM–4:30 PM (last entry 4:00 PM), closed every Friday (open if a holiday).
