See carefully grown chrysanthemums in the normally closed iris garden
Held at the prefectural Yamadaike Park in Hirakata, Osaka, this autumn tradition partly opens the normally closed iris garden to display pots of large-bloom and bonsai-style chrysanthemums grown with care. Per the park's official site, it runs from October 24 (Sat) to November 1 (Sun), 2026, open daily 9:30 to 16:30. Admission is free. Alongside the irises of spring and lotuses of summer, it is one of the seasonal events held every year at Yamadaike Park.
