Traditional chrysanthemum training styles such as three-stem large blooms and daruma-style
Chiba City Botanical Garden is a municipal garden with exhibits and hands-on facilities for enjoying greenery and flowers, and serves as the activity base for the volunteer group 'Kiku-zukuri Shimin no Kai.' In autumn, the garden's event plaza hosts its Chrysanthemum Exhibition, filled with chrysanthemum works carefully grown using traditional techniques such as three-stem large blooms, daruma-style, fukusuke-style, tree-trained, and cascade-style training. The event also includes a chrysanthemum cultivation advice corner, plus sales of potted dome mums, small chrysanthemums, and cut flowers, letting visitors both admire and take chrysanthemums home. Admission is free.
