Venue: Tocho Yashiki (Okada Memorial Museum Annex)
Jan 31 – Mar 8, 2026
A hinamatsuri at the historic Tocho Yashiki (village headman's residence) in Tochigi City, known as the 'Warehouse Town.' The Tocho Yashiki served as the residence of the local headman during the early Meiji period and is now open to the public as an annex of the Okada Memorial Museum. Hina dolls from the Edo period and precious decorations from the Meiji and Taisho eras are displayed within the atmospheric district of white-walled storehouses. Tochigi City is known for its warehouse-lined Uzuma River, and visitors can combine the hinamatsuri with a scenic boat tour of the warehouse district.
