A hina doll exhibition at the Kinokuniya Museum, a historic travelers' inn at the Arai post station on the old Tokaido road in Kosai, Shizuoka. Kinokuniya operated as an official inn for the Kishu Domain (present-day Wakayama Prefecture) for approximately 250 years from the early Edo period. The current building dates to the early Meiji era but retains strong Edo-period architectural features and is designated a municipal cultural property. Hina dolls displayed within this historic space offer visitors a chance to appreciate both post-town history and hinamatsuri culture. A visit to the adjacent Arai Sekisho checkpoint is recommended.
