The Date Museum Hina Dolls and Furnishings Exhibition is an annual special exhibition at the Date Museum in Uwajima, Ehime. It displays prestigious hina dolls and furnishings passed down through the Date clan, feudal lords of Uwajima. Highlights include yusoku-bina (court-style dolls), Kyoho-bina associated with Kanehime (wife of the 7th lord), and Jirozaemon-bina first shown to the public in 2019. The Japanese tradition of wishing for girls' healthy growth is conveyed through these magnificent items from a daimyo household. Located at the foot of Uwajima Castle, the museum visit pairs well with a stroll through the castle town.
