The Former Mikami Family Residence Hina Doll Display is an elegant exhibition at this nationally designated Important Cultural Property in Miyazu, Kyoto. Prestigious Showa-era palace-style hina decorations are displayed in the inner parlor of the Mikami family mansion, built by wealthy merchants who made their fortune in Edo-period coastal shipping. Located in the castle town of Miyazu near Amanohashidate, visitors can appreciate hina dolls in the dignified atmosphere of this historic merchant house.
