Sekishu Kaido Deguchi Street Hinamatsuri

The Sekishu Kaido Deguchi Street Hinamatsuri is held along the old Sekishu Kaido highway in Joge, Fuchu City, Hiroshima. Hina dolls adorn private homes and shops along Deguchi Street, which once bustled as a highway leading to the Iwami Silver Mine. Held concurrently with the Tenryo Joge Hinamatsuri, it offers a different charm from the white-walled streets, with the atmosphere of an old highway. The scenery created by historic roadside buildings and hina displays is deeply atmospheric, making this one of several beloved hinamatsuri events in Joge town.
