The Susanoo Shrine Momo Matsuri Hina Display is held annually from late February to early April at Susanoo Shrine in Minamisenju, Arakawa Ward, Tokyo. As over 100 peach trees in the shrine grounds come into bloom, more than 3,000 hina dolls donated by parishioners and worshippers are displayed throughout the precinct. This tradition began about 20 years ago when the shrine started accepting dolls that families could no longer display due to changes in living environments, and it has since become one of Arakawa Ward iconic spring events. On March 1, the "Momo Matsuri Hono Tea Ceremony" is held in front of the Kaguraden, where visitors can enjoy tea surrounded by peach blossoms. With the largest parish district in Arakawa Ward, this historic shrine offers a spectacular spring scene of peach blossoms and hina dolls.
