Venue: Ashigari-go Seto Yashiki
Feb 14 – Mar 3, 2026
Held at Seto Yashiki, a 300-year-old prefecturally designated cultural property farmhouse, this is Kanagawa Prefecture's largest Hinamatsuri event, featuring over 10,000 handmade hanging dolls crafted by the Kaisei Town Women's Association. Two towering 2.4-meter centerpiece displays serve as the main attraction, alongside 300-year-old Kyoho-era dolls. The contrast between the thatched-roof farmhouse and the colorful hanging dolls creates a beautiful, photogenic space. Free shuttle buses run from Kaisei Station on weekends and holidays during the event, and food stalls and hands-on activities are plentiful.
