Japan's only Hinamatsuri centered on ceramic hina dolls celebrates its 25th year as a beloved Kasama spring tradition. Kasama-yaki ceramic artists showcase their unique ceramic hina dolls at approximately 17 galleries and kilns, where the works are both exhibited and sold. Each one-of-a-kind ceramic doll offers artistic appeal distinctly different from traditional hina dolls. Ceramic doll-making workshops (reservation required, approx. 3,000 yen) let visitors create their very own unique hina doll. The Kasama sightseeing loop bus (100 yen per ride) conveniently connects the participating shops.
