Venue: Futagawa-juku Honjin Museum and Merchant House 'Komaya'
Jan 31 – Mar 15, 2026
Held at the Futagawa-juku Honjin Museum and Merchant House 'Komaya' — preserved buildings from this Edo-period post station on the historic Tokaido road — this is the largest Hinamatsuri in eastern Mikawa with approximately 2,500 dolls on display. The Honjin Museum showcases over 150 sets of hina displays including palace-style arrangements, while Komaya features the playful 'Fukuyose Hina' project with humorous posed dolls. A dress-up photo experience lets visitors wear juni-hitoe-inspired costumes for commemorative photos. Gagaku (court music) concerts add an elegant dimension to the cultural experience. Free parking for 100 vehicles.
