Venue: Former Tokaido Kameyama-juku and Seki-juku area (approx. 86 locations)
Feb 7 – Mar 3, 2026
The Tokaido highway post towns of Kameyama-juku and Seki-juku transform into a 'Hina Highway' during this event. Approximately 86 public buildings, private homes, and shops along the highway display hina dolls from the Edo period to modern times. Seki-juku, designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, features a stunning 1.8 km stretch of historic architecture. Rare Edo and Taisho-era hina dolls are exhibited alongside contemporary pieces. A digital stamp rally encourages visitors to explore the towns and trace the evolution of hina decorations through the ages.
