Venue: Shirakabe-dori (White Wall Street) area, Yoshii-machi, Ukiha City
Feb 11 – Mar 20, 2026
In the charming town of Yoshii with its rows of white-walled storehouses, hina dolls from the Edo period to the present are displayed. Distinctive regional specialties include 'okiage' (three-dimensional fabric applique dolls) and 'hako-bina' (compact box-style hina displays) found nowhere else, offering a rare cultural experience. Dolls displayed in the storehouses and merchant houses along the White Wall Street harmonize beautifully with the town's historic atmosphere. Kimono rental is available for visitors who wish to stroll the white-walled streets in traditional attire.
