In Ohasama, a former post town that prospered during the Edo period, over 1,000 hina dolls are displayed at more than 26 locations throughout the town. The collection includes numerous precious Edo-period dolls such as Kyoho-bina and Kokin-bina, reflecting the town's history as a thriving waystation and the prosperity of its merchant families. Now in approximately its 29th year, this event is highly valued as a cultural heritage carefully preserved and passed down by local residents. Visitors enjoy touring the venues and comparing the distinctive styles and display methods that evolved across different historical periods.
