An annual spring event at Jozankei Onsen in Sapporo's Minami-ku. About 400 koinobori donated by households and businesses across Hokkaido are displayed above the Toyohira River gorge running through the hot spring town. The contrast of colorful carp streamers against the fresh green gorge creates a stunning view. Visitors can enjoy the display while strolling through the onsen district, soaking in foot baths and hand baths.
