Chrysanthemum Festival – Ayauta Furusato Matsuri

Held every November at Ayauta Sogo Bunka Kaikan ILEX in Marugame, organized by the Ayauta Furusato Matsuri Executive Committee (based at the Marugame Iien Chamber of Commerce, co-sponsored by Marugame City and its Culture Association). Chrysanthemums such as large blooms, fukuju and cascade-style are displayed and judged, alongside an outdoor stage program, food stalls, a bazaar, a prize drawing, and an art exhibition by the Culture Association. In 2024 the flower display ran Nov 1-3 with the festival itself on Nov 2-3.
