A chrysanthemum corridor adorning the temple grounds as part of the 1300th-anniversary autumn events
At Hasedera, the head temple of the Buzan school, this chrysanthemum corridor is held as one of the autumn events marking the 1300th anniversary of the temple's founding. The official site's autumn events listing states: "Autumn Chrysanthemum Corridor: October 10 (Sat) to December 6 (Sun)." The same season also brings the temple's maple-leaf viewing (visiting hours 9:00–17:00), a special autumn viewing where visitors can touch the feet of the principal image in the National Treasure main hall, and a special autumn treasures exhibition, making the grounds especially lively. As it is the temple's 1300th-anniversary year, an unusually full lineup of autumn events is planned.
