Venue: Kubo Lecture Hall (main venue) and other city locations
Feb 1 – Mar 3, 2026
Held at Kubo Lecture Hall, a nationally registered cultural property, this is one of Kanto's largest hina festivals featuring an impressive 6-meter tall, 26-tier pyramid display that nearly reaches the ceiling. The dramatic tiered display harmonizes beautifully with delicate hanging doll ornaments. Additional displays are set up at various facilities throughout the city, connected by a stamp rally. Admission and parking (approx. 100 spaces) are both free. Mooka is also famous for its steam locomotive on the Mooka Railway, making it ideal to combine SL train rides with festival sightseeing.
