A popular event where renowned ikebana artist Kariyazaki Shogo creates stunning exhibitions fusing flowers with hina dolls, set against the historic 'Udatsu townscape' of Mima City, Tokushima. The 18th edition in 2026, themed 'Colorful Hinamatsuri,' features bold and beautiful floral arrangements alongside hina displays at the Ai-sho Sanao Yoshida House. During the festival, ikebana workshops (500 yen) and autograph/talk sessions with Kariyazaki himself are held. The collaboration between ikebana art and the historic buildings of this Important Preservation District is spectacular.
