The museum, which houses approximately 6,000 folk implements from the late Edo to early Showa periods, showcases locally preserved hina dolls in its ground-floor townhouse space to introduce traditional culture. The museum is located in Unomachi, Uwa, which is designated as an Important Preservation District of Historic Buildings, featuring beautiful white walls and latticed doors. The adjacent Ehime Prefectural Museum of History and Culture can also be visited together.
