Japan's purest river meets hina culture
A regional hina festival spanning 21 venues across 2 prefectures and 7 municipalities along Japan's last pristine river, the Shimanto. Participating areas in Kochi (Tsuno, Yusuhara, Nakatosa, Shimanto Town, Shimanto City) and Ehime (Kihoku, Matsuno) display hina dolls from various eras and handmade decorations in private homes, shops, and cultural facilities. The harmony between the beautiful natural landscape of the Shimanto River basin and the charming hina dolls is the event's greatest appeal, complemented by limited-edition menus and creative workshops.
