Children's hina tour in Takehara, 'Little Kyoto of Aki'
The Children's Hina Tour is a family-oriented program within the 'Takehara Town Hina Tour' held in the preserved townscape district of Takehara, Hiroshima. Families stroll through the charming streets of Takehara, known as the 'Little Kyoto of Aki,' viewing approximately 200 sets of hina dolls from the Edo period onward displayed in historic houses. Stamp rallies and guided tours designed for children allow families to learn about the historic townscape through play. This spring event offers a chance for families to experience the traditions and culture of Takehara, the city of bamboo.
