1,000 dolls across 100 stone steps
In a spectacular one-day-only event, approximately 1,000 hina dolls line the approach to Junisho Shrine in Daigo Town, Ibaraki, known as the 'Hyakudan Kaidan' (100-Step Stairway). Drawing over 30,000 visitors annually, the sight of colorful dolls filling the stone steps is truly awe-inspiring. The event features simultaneous activities including local specialty sales and a traditional bride's procession, filling the entire town with a festive atmosphere.
