Ningyou Komichi Hina Meguri

The 20th anniversary hina-meguri event in Takahama's Yoshihama district, known as the 'Town of Dolls.' Starting from Ningyo Komichi Ichiban-kan near Meitetsu Yoshihama Station, hina dolls and Fukuyose-bina are displayed throughout the district. The main attraction is the 'Children's Hina Parade,' where youngsters dress as 15 different hina doll characters and parade through Ningyo Komichi — their adorable appearances captivating audiences. The event features haiku and photo contests, weekend markets, and stamp rallies. Displays in vacant former shops also contribute to the district's revitalization efforts.
