Ebetsu Koinobori Festival

An annual spring festival in Ebetsu, Hokkaido, now in its 22nd year. Colorful koinobori made by local elementary school students swim in the sky around the Ebetsu River Disaster Prevention Station. The event features stage performances, a lottery, and food trucks, making it a fun outing for families. Located at the confluence of the Ishikari and Chitose rivers, visitors can enjoy the wide riverbank and the arrival of spring in Hokkaido.
