About This Event

Kitajima Town holds an annual chrysanthemum exhibition featuring the town flower, chrysanthemum, in front of Kitajima Town Hall. The 2026 edition marks its 38th year, running from Thursday, October 29 to Thursday, November 5. The venue is beside the main entrance of the town hall, where members of the Kitajima Flower and Bonsai Association display chrysanthemums grown with great care in elaborate flower-bed arrangements and dwarf "fukusuke" style pots. The association also welcomes new members year-round for an annual fee of 3,000 yen, including guidance on chrysanthemum cultivation. Inquiries: Kitajima Town Machi-Mirai Division.
