Mizunami Citizens' Park Koinobori Festival

Held annually during Golden Week at Mizunami Citizens' Park in Gifu Prefecture. Over 100 koinobori fly in the park while visitors enjoy stage events, science shows, and painting workshops. During Golden Week (May 3-5), three local museums—the Fossil Museum, Ichinose Kōta Memorial Art Museum, and Ceramic Materials Museum—offer free admission, making this a great value event combining koinobori viewing with museum visits. A beloved Children's Day event for local families.
