Nashiki Park Cherry Blossoms and Koinobori

Held from mid-April to early May at Nashiki Park in Jumonji-machi, Yokote City, Akita. About 80-90 koinobori swim above the pond in the park alongside approximately 70 Somei Yoshino cherry trees, creating one of Akita's signature spring landscapes. In the evening, bonbori lanterns illuminate the park, offering a magical nighttime view of cherry blossoms and koinobori. The park features two arch bridges named 'Ai-Ai Bridge' and 'Koi-Koi Bridge,' making it a popular strolling spot.
