Koinobori Festa 1000, held during Golden Week in Takatsuki City, Osaka, features about 1,000 koinobori swimming above the Akutagawa River at Sakura Tsutsumi Park. Koinobori donated by citizens and handmade by kindergarten children create a spectacular scene. The main event day (April 29) features stage performances and food stalls.
