An annual koinobori festival in the Morinosato area of Atsugi City, Kanagawa. About 200 koinobori are strung on approximately 170 meters of rope above Hyotan (Gourd) Pond in Wakamiya Park. The main event day (typically May 3) offers activities for children including giant card games, mini steam train rides, and mini kite-making workshops. A community-oriented event where families can relax and enjoy koinobori in a green, residential park setting.
