About This Event
Held annually in spring at Tokyo Midtown in Minato-ku, Tokyo, the 'Koinobori Gallery' features 101 original koinobori designed by artists and designers from Japan and abroad, all celebrating children's growth. These artistic, one-of-a-kind carp streamers swim through the lush Midtown Garden, offering a unique twist on the traditional koinobori display. The sight of colorful art koinobori fluttering against the backdrop of Roppongi's skyscrapers creates a photogenic blend of contemporary art and Japanese tradition.
