Koinobori decorating two bridges over the clear Hino River
Held annually from late April to May 5 in Kofu Town, Hino District, Tottori. Co-hosted by the local fishing association and the town government, koinobori are displayed between two bridges—Kure Bridge and Yoburi Bridge—over the Hino River. This community event embodies the wish for 'children's healthy growth and the preservation of the Hino River's clear waters.' Set at the foot of Mt. Daisen in a nature-rich environment, visitors can enjoy the sight of koinobori swimming energetically. Conveniently accessible on foot from JR Ebino Station.
