Koinobori swimming against the rural landscape of the Chikugo Plain
An annual koinobori display since 2016 at Michi no Eki Harazuru "Farm Station Basaro" in Asakura City, Fukuoka. About 130 koinobori donated by local residents and station patrons swim against the rich rural landscape of the Chikugo Plain. A great stop during drives or tours, the station also sells fresh local produce and specialty products. With Harazuru Onsen nearby, it's easy to include in a day's sightseeing itinerary.
