The Nagasawa Koinobori Festival is held annually at Michi-no-Eki Minami Kiyosato in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Approximately 450 colorful koinobori fly above the spacious grassy plaza in the Yatsugatake highlands. The month-long display period culminates on Children's Day (May 5) with a variety of family-friendly activities including muddy obstacle courses, canoe races, and fish-catching games. Food trucks and local cuisine stalls add to the festive atmosphere.
