About This Event

A Tanabata festival held at Tree Picnic Adventure Ikeda, an adventure park surrounded by nature. Seven Tanabata-themed activities are offered, headlined by the 'Shooting Star Zip' nighttime zipline run only on the first evening—a thrilling glide through the dark forest. The 'Milky Way Touch Pool,' held both days, lets visitors meet fish, frogs and turtles of the Asuwa River, and family-reserved 'flowing somen' lanes are popular too. About 30 minutes by car from Takefu IC with free parking for 200 cars, it is a perfect outdoor Tanabata for summer memories—two special days making wishes to the stars amid forest and river.
